Linkages

Through the Network's continuing evolution links are being established or are pending with rural rehab service providers and networks across the Champlain District, as appropriate to best serve the interests of those requiring rehab services in the Champlain catchment.

Process:

  1. Invitation for organizational membership may be extended by RNOC as applicable to the RNOC mandate. Unsolicited requests for membership may be considered by RNOC when accompanied by a clear indication of how the agency/organization/stakeholder would support the Vision and Goals of the Network.
  2. A Committee will be struck to review the membership and entertain membership requests comprised of:

    • Chairman
    • Past Chair (Chair of the Committee)
    • Representative of The Rehabilitation Centre
    • One or more representatives of the remaining Network membership

    Criteria:

Membership requests will be reviewed in light of:

    • the mandate and short term objectives (current work plan) of the Network.
    • how the requester would support the Vision and Goals of the Network.
    • whether other mechanisms are available or more appropriate for linkage with the Network.

    Approval Process:

    • recommendation to be presented to The Rehabilitation Network of Champlain.
    • Membership term: 2 years, renewable.
